In addition Ruwan has participated in international pageants displaying the Traditional Kandyan Attire and winning glory to the motherland. In addition Ruwan Vidanage joined Champi Siriwardena for the Genus Record by dressing the groom and the grooms team with the Traditional Kandyan attire.
